For the past several months, we’ve been developing our new brand beginning with a number of strategic planning sessions to survey our firm and see where we want to evolve over the next decade. We had discussions of our namesake, noting that most often our clients refer to us as KNA, which we like. Now our new legal name is KNA Structural Engineers, which is a better descriptor of our foremost business practice.
Dynamic Design Depicts our Firm’s Talent and Structural Forms
We were set on maintaining the KNA as a design element for our new logo. After all, it is our name. The design team we collaborated with came up with an elegant abstraction of the letterforms, which have multi-perspective qualities.
“We like color, and I directed the designers to move away from our ‘engineer blue and gray.’ The bright colors coupled with the black give us the contrast we were looking for. It’s a huge change, and the bold look represents the passion for structural engineering that we all share,” commented Larry.
