Ben Pitts, one of KNA’s structural engineers, recently made a presentation to the monthly meeting of the Cal Poly SLO Structural Engineers Association of California. The presentation was on “The ‘Realities’ of Construction,” which showed how things designed and detailed are often misinterpreted and/or misconstructed, and how to avoid future construction problems.
