On one of Southern California’s balmy summer Saturdays, KNA Structural Engineers employees and family members took to our picnic baskets and boogie boards a to Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, one of California State Parks premier beach parks. Sharing our potlock dishes (love that potato salad), games and relaxed, good company, we put our work aside and relaxed in one of the last days of summer. A homemade bean bag toss game was set up (sounds corny but is great fun), encouraging friendly competition between coworkers, friends and family.
Now an annual tradition, KNA Beach Day gives us and our families time together at one of California’s most popular state beaches, which attracts nearly one million visitors annually. Hiking and bike trails surround the park, allowing convenient access to the beach for fishing, swimming and surfing.
Goodbye summer, hello back to school.
